Ohio energy options
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio operates Energy Choice Ohio for comparison of competitive energy offers.
Electricity
Apples to Apples comparison
Use the official Apples to Apples tool to select the correct electric utility and compare available supplier offers. The local utility continues physical delivery after a supply switch. [1] [2]
Before you decide: Check your utility's price to compare, supplier term and any local aggregation enrollment already shown on your bill.
Natural gas
Apples to Apples gas comparison
The same official service has a separate natural gas comparison. Select the gas distribution company and compare the applicable utility supply option with competitive offers. [1] [3]
Before you decide: Keep the rate units consistent and inspect fixed versus variable pricing, recurring fees and renewal terms before deciding.
Continue your comparison
Check the total price and contract terms before accepting an offer. For service or billing questions, find the right contact.
